Please take notice that Buckinghamshire Highways will be carrying out Priority Road surfacing works along the High St, Old Amersham from the ‘narrowing’s/speed control’ to the Market Hall.
The works are programmed to take place from Tue 23 May 2023, and it is anticipated the carriageway surfacing work will take approximately 4 nights to complete. The work will be carried out using a road closure, in operation Tue 23 May to Fri 26 May between 20:00 and 06.00.
It is clearly important that vehicles are not parked on the road and/or footway as this will prevent the works from being completed. There will be no parking from Tue 23 May 00:01 to Fri 26 May 23:59 between Church Street Roundabout and Mill Lane. Residents may obtain a permit to park for free in the Amersham Old Town Car Park HP7 OUT for the duration of the works.
