Coronation Events

Amersham Town Council is hosting special events in the town during the Coronation bank holiday weekend.

On Sun 7 May from 1.30pm-3.30pm there will be a Special Band Concert at the Memorial Gardens, Old Amersham, featuring The Polka Dots. Then from 3.30pm-7:30pm there will be a party in Church Mead, with music, food and drink, courtesy of Coopers Markets.

On Mon 8 May from 12:30pm-5.30pm we will be holding a ‘Picnic in the Park’ at King George V Playing Fields, Amersham-on-the-Hill. There will be live music from Soundforce Big Band and Damo & The Dynamites. There will also be children’s funfair rides, food, drink (courtesy of Mad Squirrel) community group stalls, and a children’s ‘royal’ themed fancy-dress parade at 2:45pm.
