A free half-day online conference ‘HS2 Archaeology: Discoveries of Year 3’ will be held on Sat 21 Nov from 2pm to 5pm. It’s jointly organised by Fusion JV, archaeologists for HS2, and the Bucks Archaeological Society.
Reports from archaeologists working on the route of HS2 across Buckinghamshire will be on Stoke Mandeville old church and churchyard excavations, Grim’s Ditch south of Wendover, the deserted medieval village site at Doddershall, an iron-age ‘banjo enclosure’ at Wormleighton, and railways, historic landscapes and historic buildings along the line.
